The Badung Lifeguard Team participated again in international championship. Now, they join the Pohoda Festival in Slovakia and Training Royal Life saving in the Netherlands. It was revealed after the Badung Lifeguard met the Badung Regent, Thursday 9 July 2009.
Division Head of Tourist Object and Attraction of Badung Tourism Government Office, AA Raka Yuda, said that in July and at the beginning of August 2009, two members of Badung Safeguard got an offer to join overseas events. One of them is Marshello Lolot Aryafara coalesced into The Hydrant band group obtaining an invitation to the most prominent music festival in Slovakia, right in Trencin.
The event will present Balinese dance and short video on Bali as medium of promotion. Marchello and The Hydrant will also wear Balinese costume on such presentation. For Asian region, the event is only represented by Korean and Indonesian (Bali) team.
Meanwhile, another team member of Badung Lifeguard, Nyoman Suardana, got an honor to join in the Training Royal Life Saving in the Netherlands (3 August-11 September). This event aims at establishing and improving the capability and knowledge of the beach lifeguards in order they could become reliable lifeguards.
